The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ) Scholarship is designed to assist college students in their desire to achieve success in the journalism field. CAABJ is the region’s outlet for African-American media professionals, representing those who work in print, radio, television, communications, and new media.
The scholarship will award $1,000 to a college student in the metro area who is pursuing a career in journalism or mass communications. The deadline to apply is November 6, 2009.
